The IQAC assures the stakeholders i.e., students, parents, teachers, staff, Management, funding agencies and society in general - of the accountability and transparency in the quality management system of the institution and its concern for ensuring quality of education being imparted.
The process of feedback has been made scientific and comprehensive. This is a significant quality enhancement measure implemented by the college. IQAC conducts feedback on curricular aspects from students, alumni, parents, employers, and from subject Experts. The analysis of the feedback is sent to the Departments for initiating suitable measures.
IQAC collects feedback on curricular aspects from subject Experts through Dean’s office and passes on the report to the Chairmen of Boards of Studies to consider the suggestions while framing the syllabi.
IQAC conducts general feedback on different aspects of the campus from alumni, parents, and employers. It conducts exit survey from final year students on all aspects of their life in campus. The analysis is submitted to the Management for taking suitable measures. IQAC conducts performance based evaluation for teachers as per the direction of the Coordinator for Madurai Province Jesuit Higher Education Commission. The analysis is submitted to the Coordinator for Madurai Province Jesuit Higher Education Commission. The Coordinator for Madurai Province Jesuit Higher Education Commission in consultation with the Management takes suitable action based on the analysis of feedback. IQAC conducts the process of student feedback on teachers at the end of every semester. The analysis of the feedback is handed over to Rev. Fr. Secretary, Rev. Fr. Principal and the teachers. Rev. Fr. Secretary meets the teachers individually and instructs them to improve their performance based on the results of the evaluation. Besides student feedback on teachers, self-appraisal is also done by individual teachers. The questionnaires are printed by the college and issued to individual teachers through IQAC.
In this process we get valuable feedback that will pave way for carrying out quality sustenance and improvement activities in all spheres of life in the College.
